Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 8 ounces whole wheat bread dough
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup evaporated cane juice
- 3 cups olive oil
Recipe
- 1 prepare dough according to instructions; add in the honey while kneading and add some whole wheat flour to dough if dough is too sticky; wait for it to rise.
- 2 form into rings (or whatever shape you want: balls, hearts, flowers, etc).
- 3 heat olive oil at medium heat.
- 4 fry shaped dough for 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- 5 brush with evaporated cane juice or whatever you want (frosting, etc.).
