Cinnamon Rolls Using Cake Mix!

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 1/2 cups warm water
  • 2 (1/4 ounce) packages dry yeast
  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup margarine or 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 dissolve yeast in water for 3 minutes.
  • 2 add cake mix, 1 cup flour, eggs, oil and salt.
  • 3 beat until bubbles appear.
  • 4 slowly add 5 1/4 cups flour to make a soft dough.
  • 5 knead for 5 minutes.
  • 6 let rise until doubled.
  • 7 roll 1/4 inch thick.
  • 8 spread with butter.
  • 9 sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • 10 roll up jelly roll style.
  • 11 cut into 1 1/2 inch slices.
  • 12 place in greased 9 x 13 pan.
  • 13 allow to raise until doubled.
  • 14 bake at 350°f for 25 minutes.
