Dill And Potato Cakes

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
  • 1 cup mashed potato
  • 2 -3 tablespoons milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 450. grease a baking sheet.
  • 2 sift the flour into a bowl and add the butter, salt and dill.
  • 3 mix in the mashed potato and enough milk to make a soft, pliable dough.
  • 4 roll out the dough on a well floured surface until fairly thin.
  • 5 cut into circles with a 3-inch cutter.
  • 6 place the potato cakes on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until risen and golden.
