Dill And Potato Cakes

Ingredients
- 2 cups self rising flour
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
- 1 cup mashed potato
- 2 -3 tablespoons milk
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 450. grease a baking sheet.
- 2 sift the flour into a bowl and add the butter, salt and dill.
- 3 mix in the mashed potato and enough milk to make a soft, pliable dough.
- 4 roll out the dough on a well floured surface until fairly thin.
- 5 cut into circles with a 3-inch cutter.
- 6 place the potato cakes on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until risen and golden.
