Greek Fried Cheese Bread

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (1/4 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 1/2-2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground aniseed
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons grated onions
  • 3/4 cup crumbled goat cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • fresh ground pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 in a small bowl, stir together the yeast and water until yeast is dissolved.
