French Toast

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 10 eggs
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 12 slices french bread, 3/4 inch thick

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients well.
  • 2 place bread slices in glass dish.
  • 3 pour egg mixture over the bread.
  • 4 turn slices to coat throughly.
  • 5 refrigerate, covered, overnight.
  • 6 preheat oven to 400°f.
  • 7 spray baking sheet, lay slices on sheet.
  • 8 bake for 8 - 10 minutes.
  • 9 can be served at this point or continue to crisp the outside.
  • 10 heat griddle to about 375°f.
  • 11 with slices ready to put on griddle, butter the surface well.
  • 12 immediately place slices on griddle, turning once.
