Ingredients
- 2 cups cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons minced onions
- 1 cup buttermilk
Recipe
- 1 heat shortening.
- 2 mix in order listed and drop by spoonfuls into deep hot shortening.
