Parmesan Butter Pan Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 cup milk
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 400'.
- 2 in 9" square baking pan melt butter in oven (3 to 5 minutes).
- 3 meanwhile, in medium bowl combine remaining ingredients except milk.
- 4 stir in milk just until moistened.
- 5 turn dough onto lightly floured surface; knead 10 times or until smooth.
- 6 roll dough into 12x4"rectangle.
- 7 cut into 12 (1") strips.
- 8 dip each strip into melted butter; place in same pan.
- 9 bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
