Larkann's Easy Pizza Dough

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 50 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4-3 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 ounce active dry yeast (regular size)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 cup warm water

Recipe

  • 1 combine 1 1/4 c flour salt and yeast in a large bowl
  • 2 add water and oil
  • 3 beat with electric mixer on low for 30 seconds or with a whisk until smooth.
  • 4 beat on high for three minutes.
  • 5 stir in as much of the remaining flour as you can with a wooden spoon.
  • 6 turn out onto a lightly floured surface.
  • 7 knead in enough remaining flour to make a moderately stiff dough that is smooth and elastic (about 6-8 minutes).
  • 8 divide in half.
  • 9 cover and let rise ten minutes.
  • 10 make a pizza!
  • 11 bake pizza at 375.
