Ingredients

- vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/4 cup sweetened kool-aid drink mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups milk
- 3 2/3 cups flour
Recipe
- 1 make the batter by beating the eggs and sugar together.
- 2 gradually add the milk and dry ingredients.
- 3 preheat oil to 350°f.
- 4 cook in hot vegetable oil until golden brown (a few minutes, depending on heat).
- 5 cool on paper-towel covered tray for a few minutes, then dig in!
