Fried Kool-aid

Total Time: 7 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1/4 cup sweetened kool-aid drink mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 2/3 cups flour

Recipe

  • 1 make the batter by beating the eggs and sugar together.
  • 2 gradually add the milk and dry ingredients.
  • 3 preheat oil to 350°f.
  • 4 cook in hot vegetable oil until golden brown (a few minutes, depending on heat).
  • 5 cool on paper-towel covered tray for a few minutes, then dig in!
