Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups self raising flour
- 2 tablespoons butter, level
- 1 egg
- 155 ml milk
- 3 tablespoons sugar, level
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 200 deg c (400 deg f).
- 2 heat gem irons.
- 3 cream butter and sugar; add egg, beat well then add milk.
- 4 lastly add sifted flour and mix in lightly.
- 5 spoon into heated, greased gem irons.
- 6 cook 7 to 10 minutes.
- 7 best served warm with butter.
