Deana's Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 (1/4 ounce) package dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 5 1/2 cups flour
- butter

- 1/2 cup cinnamon
- raisins (optional)
- nuts (optional)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 teaspoons water
Recipe
- 1 scald milk, add next 3 ingredients.
- 2 in a different bowl, add yeast, water, and eggs. combine mixtures and add flour. set in warm place for 3 hours. take fork and poke hole in dough; cover. put in fridge over night.
- 3 roll dough on floured table. rub with butter and and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. roll into a log. use fine thread or plain floss and cut into 1 inch pieces. put in greased pan with sides. if there are no sides, the rolls will fall over the sides and make a mess in your oven, and it's not fun to clean up. let stand or rise for 2 hours. bake at 300 degrees until light brown.
- 4 remove from oven and drizzle topping over rolls, while still warm. yummy, yummy!
