Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup milk
Recipe
- 1 combine dry ingredients.
- 2 cut in shortening.
- 3 add just enough milk to make the mixture moist, you probably won't use the full 1/2 cup.
- 4 knead lightly until smooth. don't over do it. if you do, you will have a hard flat biscut instead of one that is light and fluffy.
- 5 press dough flat to 1/2 inch. cut into 2 inch circles.
- 6 place biscuits shoulder to shoulder on ungreased baking sheet.
- 7 bake at 425 for 8-10 minutes.
