Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 cup margarine
- 1 cup buttermilk or 1 cup sour milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 sift flours into bowl with soda and salt.
- 2 rub in margarine.
- 3 make a well in centre and add buttermilk.
- 4 knead til smooth and free from stickiness.
- 5 form into loaves.
- 6 make a cut across each.
- 7 bake 325f 40 mins.
