Basic, Light & Easy Whole Wheat Bread

Total Time: 2 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 3 cups whole wheat flour (the good stuff)
  • 3 tablespoons vital wheat gluten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 9 -10 ounces warm water
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast (1 packet, i use fleischmans)

Recipe

  • 1 put the ingredients in your abm in the order your manufacturer recommends.
  • 2 dont use the rapid rise cycle on your machine as a longer, slower rise helps develop the flavor.
  • 3 i use this for rolls or for loaves.
  • 4 enjoy.
