Hokey Pokey Biscuits

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup plain flour

Recipe

  • 1 cream the butter and sugar.
  • 2 warm milk and golden syrup in a mug in microwave (only for about 30 seconds or else it will curdle) add baking soda to milk and golden syrup and beat with a teaspoon until frothy.
  • 3 stir into butter and sugar mixture.
  • 4 add flour and mix well.
  • 5 roll teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls, place onto baking tray and flatten with fork.
  • 6 bake in moderate oven 180 c for 10-15 minutes.
  • 7 don't overcook.
