Hokey Pokey Biscuits

Ingredients
- 3 ounces butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup plain flour
Recipe
- 1 cream the butter and sugar.
- 2 warm milk and golden syrup in a mug in microwave (only for about 30 seconds or else it will curdle) add baking soda to milk and golden syrup and beat with a teaspoon until frothy.
- 3 stir into butter and sugar mixture.
- 4 add flour and mix well.
- 5 roll teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls, place onto baking tray and flatten with fork.
- 6 bake in moderate oven 180 c for 10-15 minutes.
- 7 don't overcook.
