Our Go-to Pizza Dough

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 7 g sachet dried yeast
  • 1 teaspoon caster sugar
  • 2 cups flour, fine 00
  • 1/4 cup semolina flour, fine
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • extra fine semolina flour, for dusting

Recipe

  • 1 stir water, yeast and sugar in a small jug until combined.
  • 2 stand in a warm place for around 5 minutes or until a frothy layer forms on the surface.
  • 3 sift flour, semolina and salt into a large bowl.
  • 4 add yeast mixture and oil, stir to combine.
  • 5 use your hands to bring dough together.
  • 6 knead on a lightly floured surface for around 10 minutes or until smooth.
  • 7 place into a large oiled bowl, cover and set aside in a warm place for around an hour, or until has doubled in size.
  • 8 knock down with your fist and use as desired.
