Hi-protein Honey Wheat Bread

Total Time: 2 hrs 50 mins Preparation Time: 2 hrs 15 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 -5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 packages active dry yeast
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup margarine or 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup cream-style cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Recipe

  • 1 in large bowl, combine 2 cups all purpose flour, salt and yeast; blend well.
  • 2 in medium saucepan, heat water, honey, margarine and cottage cheese until very warm (120 to 130*).
  • 3 margarine does not need to melt completely.
