Margherita Pita Pizzas

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 pita breads
  • 2 teaspoons garlic-infused olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons pesto sauce
  • 1 -2 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, thinly sliced

Recipe

  • 1 place pita bread on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • 2 brush pitas with oil and pesto sauce and sprinkle with garlic.
  • 3 top them with 1 cup cheese, tomatoes, onion and remaining cheese; sprinkle with italian seasoning.
  • 4 bake at 425 degrees for 1012 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • 5 top with basil before serving.
