Hungarian Salt Sticks

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb farmer cheese
  • 1 lb butter
  • 1 lb flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • caraway seed
  • kosher salt

Recipe

  • 1 mix and knead above well, roll out about 1/4 inch thick, paint top with the egg whites.
  • 2 sprinkle with kosher salt and caraway seeds.
  • 3 cut into 1/2 inch strips about 4-6 inches long.
  • 4 bake at 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes, until lightly brown.
  • 5 serve as bread stick with drinks.
