Orange Cranberry Nut Bread

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- zest from 1 orange
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups chopped fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375f, butter and flour a 9-inch loaf pan.
- 2 combine one and stir together.
- 3 rub orange zest into sugar until aromatic, then add the rest of two.
- 4 stir one into two.
- 5 gently stir in three, do not overmix.
- 6 pour into pan, bake 20 mins, reduce heat to 350f, bake 30-45 mins, until toothpick comes out clean.
