Moist And Easy Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 3 medium bananas, smashed
- 1/2 cup nonfat yogurt (i used 0% fage greek yogurt)
- 2 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- dark semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 350°f
- 2 mix smashed bananas and yogurt together into a large mixing bowl.
- 3 mix melted butter into the bananas.
- 4 mix in the beaten egg, vanilla then sugar.
- 5 sprinkle the cinnamon, salt and baking soda over the mixture and mix.
- 6 add the flour in last, a little at a time, mixing after each addition.
- 7 spray a 4x8 inch loaf pan with pam then pour mixture into pan. sprinkle ontop with chocolate chips if desired.
- 8 bake for approximately 45 minutes until a sharp knife inserted vertically through the middle of the loaf comes out clean.
- 9 cool on a rack.
- 10 slice and serve with butter spread (optional).
