Honey Wheat Bread

Total Time: 3 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 3 hrs Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (7 g) package fast rising yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water (warm for rising yeast)
  • 12 ounces water
  • 1/3 cup powdered milk
  • 2 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 3 cups bread flour or 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water.
  • 2 combine 1/4 cup oil, water, powdered milk in a sauce pan and stir together, heat till slightly warm.
  • 3 in the bowl of a stand mixer combine liquid mix above with the flour.

  • 13 place about a 1 1/2 cups water in cake pan and put on the bottom oven rack, preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 14 bake 25 to 35 minutes.
