Light And Fluffy Scones

Ingredients
- 2 cups self raising flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 egg
- 2 cups milk
Recipe
- 1 place flour, sugar and salt in bowl.
- 2 melt butter allow to cool slightly. add egg to butter and beat lightly.
- 3 add butter and milk to bowl. fold until just combined (mix should be fluffy and slightly sticky to touch)
- 4 turn onto floured surface. flatten with hands to approx 5cm thick do not fold mixture. cut into squares or cut out circles with cookie cutter.
- 5 place on oiled tray in 180°c oven for 10-15 minutes or until slightly browned.
