Perfect Pizza Dough

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon fast rising yeast (quick rise)
  • 1/2-2/3 cup lukewarm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 sift the flour and salt into large mixing bowl.
  • 2 stir in yeast
  • 3 make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. pour the water and oil in to the well.
  • 4 mix with a spoon to a soft dough.
  • 5 turn out dough on lightly floured surface and knead for about 7-10 mins until dough is smooth and elastic.
  • 6 place dough in a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until the dough has doubled its size
  • 7 punch down the dough and knead again for 2-3 minutes
  • 8 roll or strech out dough to fit pizza pan. top with sauce and cheese.
  • 9 place in 425 f preheated over for 15-20 mins until crisp and golden.
