Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- 1/2-3/4 cup warm water
Recipe
- 1 mix dry ingredients well.
- 2 add shortening and mix until it resembles cornmeal.
- 3 add warm water and mix until dough can be gathered into a ball.
- 4 divide into 12 balls.
- 5 flour surface lightly.
- 6 roll out into thin rounds.
- 7 cook in ungreased skillet until lightly brown.
