Easy Popovers

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 8 whole eggs
- 2 cups milk
- vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
Recipe
- 1 mix the eggs.
- 2 add the milk, salt sugar and flour and hand mix for one minute.
- 3 do not over-mix!
- 4 pre-heat popover pan with ½ teaspoon vegetable oil in each cup for 10 minutes.
- 5 when hot, fill each cup with popover mix 3/4 full.
- 6 bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
- 7 reduce heat to 350 degrees and cook for an additional 35 minutes.
- 8 be sure popovers are cooked inside to prevent collapsing.
- 9 always use a cookie sheet as a drip pan for excess grease when the popover pops!
