Graham Bread

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups graham flour
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 combine milk and cider vinegar; let stand 5 minutes.
  • 2 blend all ingredients together until thoroughly combined either by hand or using a heavy duty mixer.
  • 3 pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pans.
  • 4 bake at 350°f for 30-35 minutes until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • 5 cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to rack to cool completely.
