Herb Bread (bread Machine)

Total Time: 4 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 1/8 cups water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons nut oil or 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gluten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • 2 teaspoons fast rising yeast (or 2 1/2 t. bread machine yeast) or 2 teaspoons instant yeast (or 2 1/2 t. bread machine yeast)
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons nut oil or 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gluten, plus
  • 1 teaspoon gluten
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons dried marjoram
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons dried tarragon
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons fast rising yeast (or 2 3/4 t. bread machine yeast) or 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast (or 2 3/4 t. bread machine yeast)

Recipe

  • 1 add all ingredients to pan according to the order in the manufacturer’s directions.
  • 2 set crust on medium or dark and program for the basic cycle; press start.
  • 3 when the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack; let cool to room temperature before slicing.
