Pita Bread For Bread Machine

Total Time: 24 mins Cook Time: 24 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast or 1 tablespoon bread machine yeast

Recipe

  • 1 add ingredients, in order listed.
  • 2 select dough cycle.
  • 3 when cycle is complete, remove dough.
  • 4 divide into 12 equal portions. shape each portion into a ball.
  • 5 cover with a damp towel and let rest 10 minutes.
  • 6 grease a baking sheet. set aside.
  • 7 on a floured surface, roll each ball of dough into 6-7 inch circles.
  • 8 place 2 circles of dough on prepared pan.
  • 9 bake 450 degrees, 2 minutes. turn over and bake 2 minutes longer.
  • 10 continue baking 2 at a time.
