Pat's Bread

Total Time: 28 mins Preparation Time: 3 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 ounces yeast
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup lard
  • 5 cups flour

Recipe

  • 1 mix together first six ingredients with electric mixer.
  • 2 add 5-6 cups flour & knead well.
  • 3 let rise in well oiled, covered bowl.
  • 4 punch down.
  • 5 make into loaves or rolls an let rise until double.
  • 6 bake at 325 for 20-25 minutes for small loaves.
