Ingredients
- 2 1/4 ounces yeast
- 2 cups warm water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup lard
- 5 cups flour
Recipe
- 1 mix together first six ingredients with electric mixer.
- 2 add 5-6 cups flour & knead well.
- 3 let rise in well oiled, covered bowl.
- 4 punch down.
- 5 make into loaves or rolls an let rise until double.
- 6 bake at 325 for 20-25 minutes for small loaves.
