Custardy Popovers

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 375°f.
  • 2 melt the butter and then brush it along the insides of a muffin pan.
  • 3 crack the eggs into a bowl, pour in the milk, and whisk until slightly combined. then slowly whisk in the flour and salt.
  • 4 pour the batter into each muffin cup until they are filled about 1/2 of the way.
  • 5 bake in the oven for 25 minutes. when done remove, and then prick with a fork so they keep their shape. serve up immediately.
