Crescent Wrapped Brie

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 8 ounces brie cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 unroll dough.
- 3 separate dough crosswise into 2 sections.
- 4 pat dough and firmly press perforations to seal, forming 2 squares.
- 5 place 1 square on ungreased cookie sheet.
- 6 place cheese on center of dough.
- 7 with small cookie or canape cutter, cut 1 shape from each corner of remaining square; set cutouts aside.
- 8 place remaining square on top of cheese round.
- 9 press dough evenly around cheese; fold bottom edges over top edges.
- 10 gently stretch dough evenly around cheese; press to seal completely.
- 11 brush with beaten egg.
- 12 top with cutouts; brush with additional beaten egg.
- 13 bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 24 minutes or until golden brown.
- 14 cool 15 minutes before serving.
