Crescent Wrapped Brie

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 8 ounces brie cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 unroll dough.
  • 3 separate dough crosswise into 2 sections.
  • 4 pat dough and firmly press perforations to seal, forming 2 squares.
  • 5 place 1 square on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 6 place cheese on center of dough.
  • 7 with small cookie or canape cutter, cut 1 shape from each corner of remaining square; set cutouts aside.
  • 8 place remaining square on top of cheese round.
  • 9 press dough evenly around cheese; fold bottom edges over top edges.
  • 10 gently stretch dough evenly around cheese; press to seal completely.
  • 11 brush with beaten egg.
  • 12 top with cutouts; brush with additional beaten egg.
  • 13 bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 24 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 14 cool 15 minutes before serving.
