Raspberry Chocolate Scones

Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
- 1 -1 1/2 cup fresh raspberry
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 egg
- sugar
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375f.
- 2 stir together the first 4 ingredients, then buttermilk.
- 3 fold in raspberries and chocolate chips.
- 4 cover and chill for 30 minutes.
- 5 turn out onto a well floured surface and pat down to about 3/4 inch thick.
- 6 cut into 12-14 triangles, place on lightly greased baking sheet, brush with egg , and sprinkle with a lot of sugar.
- 7 bake for about 15-20 minutes.
