Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 4 cups flour
- 6 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup solid crisco
- 2 cups milk
Recipe
- 1 mix flour, baking powder an salt with whisk.
- 2 add crisco and cut in with pastry blender. (a fork will work also, but the pastry blender is much easier).
- 3 add milk. stir to make dough.
- 4 roll out on floured surface to about 1 inch thick.
- 5 cut with biscuit cutter.
- 6 bake 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
