Fluffy Yeast Biscuits

Ingredients
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 package dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 3 tablespoons melted shortening
- melted butter, for dipping
Recipe
- 1 dissolve yeast in warm water and let set for 5 minutes.
- 2 mix together dry ingredients and add yeast mixture.
- 3 add shortening and mix.
- 4 roll out 1/4" thick and cut into biscuits.
- 5 dip in melted butter and place on baking sheet.
- 6 let rise for 1 1/2 hours.
- 7 bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.
