- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons fat, melted
Recipe
- 1 mix and sift dry ingredients.
- 2 combine beaten egg and milk.
- 3 add to dry ingredients.
- 4 stir in shortening.
- 5 pour on a hot griddle.
