Cranberry Scones

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 2 cups flour (at least)
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk (scant)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1/2 cup cranberries (fresh or frozen)

Recipe

  • 1 combine dry ingredients.
  • 2 cut in butter.
  • 3 combine wet ingredients.
  • 4 mix dry and wet together, just until wet.
  • 5 fold in cranberries.
  • 6 spoon mixture into greased a scone pan, or into muffin tins, or spoon by tablespoons onto a greased baking sheet.
  • 7 bake in a 400* oven 20-25 minutes.
