No Fuss Biscuits

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 -4 tablespoons shortening (crisco)
  • 2/3-3/4 cup whole milk (you can substitute skim if you prefer)

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients together thoroughly until dough forms a ball.
  • 2 place on floured board or even a floured counter works, and flatten with a floured rolling pin. use mason jar lids to cut; make sure dough fills entire lid. bake in a greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish at 350 degrees until brown, about 20-30 minutes.
