Low Fat Chili-cheese Cornbread

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup fat-free egg substitute
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
- 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
- veg. cooking spray
Recipe
- 1 combine first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl.
- 2 make a well in the center.
- 3 combine water, egg substiute, and oil.
- 4 add to the dry ingredients, stirring just until moist.
- 5 stir in cheese and chiles.
- 6 pour into a 8 inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray.
- 7 bake at 375f for 30 minutes or until golden.
- 8 cut into squares.
