Gruyere Cheese Bread Ring

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup shredded gruyere cheese
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400*, then heat milk and butter to rolling boil.
- 2 stir in flour.
- 3 stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms a ball about 1 minute.
- 4 remove from heat and beat in eggs all at once, continue beating until smooth.
- 5 fold in 2/3 cups cheese.
- 6 drop dough by tablespoons full onto a greased cookie sheet to form 8" ring.
- 7 smooth with a spatula.
- 8 sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake 20- 25 minutes (or) until golden.
